Thank you!!

On behalf of the FBTA Board of Directors, I would like to thank you for the wonderful Lunch hosted last Wednesday by the Newport Beachside hotel.  We were very pleased and satisfied with the quality of the food, the service and the venue and in particular with the quick response in handling the additional last-minute guests. The Newport Beachside has done a great job at renovating the public areas making them bright and lively but most importantly relaxed and welcoming for the guests. We are sure everyone who attended this event had the same impression and we hope this exposure will bring additional opportunities for your property. Our thanks also to Tammy Malamud, Lance Detotto our valued FBTA member, Robert Festinger and Michael O’Malley and also to the team of waiters who served us beautifully.

just want to say a big thank you.first time staying at Newport Beach since i bought into Westgate 9 years ago.Came for 1 week, staff very pleasant and helpful especially Val on front desk(changed our room from 728 to 916 without any hassle)and Adam and Laura ,childrens co-ordinators,who did a great job with all the kids and my daughter, who turned 6,felt she had a great time and made loads of new friends. One suggestion would be to have a “hall of fame wall”for the kids so that they can create a picture gallery,of their happy times during their stay.also special offers for the adults(so we can come back again)

We were guests for five days during the Super Bowl Weekend. Our experience was anything but Super. Here are a few things that this so called resort could improve upon:
    1. The room was not as advertised on their website. It was old and dirty, small tv’s, jacuzzi did not work, couch was so old that cushions had two hugh holes in them. It was like sitting on the floor. The room need updating from the 70’s.
    2. Staff had an attitude and were not helpful at all. Noticed that the staff was not knowledgable about anything in the immediate area and directions were very vague. Not a smile did we see while we were there.
    3. As a Resort that apparently does groups well, they did nothing for the guests that were there and did not go to the game. They put some reserved signs on the tables at the lobby bar and had some kind of (not for family viewing) event in the main bar. There was a group of us that went out and brought in out own snacks.

I have traveled around the world and have never had a more disappointing experience. This hotel is not worth the money and I will never go back or recommend it to anyone.
